Rural Care Empowerment International (RUCEI) is a community-driven nonprofit organisation serving vulnerable populations across Western and Northeastern Uganda.
RUCEI works through committed staff, volunteers, community leaders, and valued partners who share a common vision of dignity, opportunity, and sustainable community transformation.
Our partnerships help us expand impact in health, education, mindset transformation, and livelihoods while staying rooted in the real needs of the communities we serve.
RuralCare Empowerment International (RUCEI) was founded in May 2018 by Mr. Gerald Nasasira and Dr. Beingana Gilbert, together with a committed team of volunteers. Driven by the urgent need to address poverty in rural areas, the organization began its work in the villages of Western Uganda and has since expanded to Northeastern Uganda.
Today, RUCEI collaborates with over 100 villages, empowering communities to identify their own challenges and develop sustainable solutions.
